Ticketing and entry for events of 500 to 10,000

Tap in. We’ve got the gate.

Sell tickets that cannot be faked, forwarded or oversold. Get thousands of guests through the gate without the chaos, and know exactly who came.

  • Single-use tickets
  • Live QR that beats screenshots
  • Every scan logged

Why organisers switch

The gate is where events lose money.

Fake and copied tickets

Every ticket works once

Each ticket is a single-use code checked at the gate. A copy or a made-up code is turned away, and staff see when the real one was first used.

Screenshots on WhatsApp

A code that keeps moving

Turn on Live QR and the code on the guest’s phone changes every 30 seconds. A screenshot sent to a friend stops working.

Overselling

Your limit is the limit

Ticket limits are enforced on the server, so the last ticket sells once, even when two people press buy at the same moment.

Friends waved through

Every entry on record

Every scan is logged with the time, the area and the result. For high-value events, staff can see the ticket holder’s photo next to their name.

Slow, chaotic gates

A clear yes or no

Staff get a big Admit or Do not admit, the guest’s first name and ticket type. Any Android phone with Chrome is a scanner, and USB or Bluetooth scanners work too.

Not knowing who came

See the night as it happens

Your console shows who has entered and who was turned away, ticket type by ticket type, updated every few seconds.

One event, start to finish

From first sale to last entry.

  1. Mon

    Tickets go on sale

Ticket types, prices, limits and a sales window. Your event gets its own sales page, and guests buy in a minute.

  2. 19:30

    Doors open

Guests show the pass on their phone. Staff scan it and get a clear answer. Copies, screenshots and used tickets are turned away.

  3. 22:15

    You know the numbers

How many are in, how many were refused and why, by ticket type and area, while the night is still going.

How it works

Three steps to a calm gate.

  1. 01

    Create the event

Add ticket types with prices and limits, the areas each one can enter, a sales window and re-entry rules. Share your sales page, or send invite codes for a guest list.

  2. 02

    Guests get their pass

They buy on your page or add an invite code, sign in with a phone number or email, and the pass lives in the Tap In app. Each ticket belongs to one person.

  3. 03

    Scan at the gate

Open the scanner on any staff phone with your gate key. Admit or Do not admit, the guest’s first name and ticket type, and a log of every scan.

    Built for the gate team

Works with the staff and kit you have.

    Any phone is a scanner

Chrome on Android scans with the camera. USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners type straight into the scanner page, and codes can be typed by hand.

    Areas and re-entry

VIP, backstage and the main floor are separate areas. A pass only opens the areas its ticket type allows, with re-entry on or off.

    Guest details stay private

Gate staff see a first name and last initial, never a phone number or email. Ticket codes are stored scrambled, so a database leak gives nobody working tickets.

    Beyond the ticket sale

Weddings, outside tickets and no signal.

    Weddings and private parties

    Invitations that check people in

Add your guest list and send each guest their own link on WhatsApp. They tell you if they are coming and how many, with no app or account. At the door, one scan lets their whole party in and shows the usher their table.

    Already selling elsewhere?

Bring the tickets, keep your ticketer

Selling on another platform, on Instagram or by bank transfer? Import the buyer list and Tap In checks those codes at the gate: each works once, fakes are refused, and every entry lands in your report.

    No signal at the gate

    The gate keeps working

Scanners save the ticket list and keep checking when the network drops, then send every scan when it comes back. Live passes make their own code on the guest’s phone, so screenshots still fail with no data.
