Groups, days and hours
Staff, contractors, cleaners and visitors each get a group. A group is allowed into certain entrances on certain days, between certain hours.
Tap In for Business
Staff and visitor check-in for offices. Everyone carries a pass on their phone, reception or security scans it at the entrance, and every entry is on record.

Send a visitor a link on WhatsApp. They open it and show the code at the door: no app, no account. It works only during their visit, then stops on its own.
Someone turns up without a pass? Reception types their name and who they are visiting, and they are checked in and on record. Give a phone number to send them a pass for the rest of the day.
Type in an email or phone number and the pass appears in that person’s Tap In app when they sign in. Nothing to print or send.
When someone leaves, cancel their pass. The next scan at any entrance refuses it.
For sensitive sites, the person scanning sees the holder’s photo next to their name, so a borrowed phone is easy to spot.
Every scan is recorded with the time, the entrance and the result, including refusals and the reason for each.
Name your entrances and the groups that use them, with the days and hours each group is allowed in.
Add staff and visitors by email or phone, or hand out invite codes. Each person adds their pass once in the Tap In app.
Reception or security opens the scanner on a phone or uses a USB scanner. They see a clear yes or no, the first name and the group.
Tap In for Business is check-in, not an electronic lock. A person at the entrance scans the pass and acts on the answer. Connecting to door locks, turnstiles and card readers is planned but not available yet.
